Episcopal Biography
<p><strong>Ordinary 1934-1956</strong><br />Francis Xavier Lacoursiere was the first Bishop of Rwenzori Vicariate that later transformed into Mbarara Diocese. He came to Uganda, loved the people of Uganda, served with devotion and choose to remain in the midst of the people he gave all he had. He is laid to rest in Nyamitanga Cathedral.</p>
