<p>His Lordship Bishop His Lordship Emeritus John Baptist Kakubi was a distinguished member of the Catholic hierarchy who served the Archdiocese of Mbarara. He was a member of the Diocesan Clergy. His home parish was Our Lady of Mercy - Ibanda Parish. He was ordained to the priesthood on January 1, 1960. Throughout his priestly ministry, he served the faithful for 56 years, demonstrating unwavering commitment to his pastoral duties. He passed away on February 11, 2016. He is remembered fondly by the faithful for his dedication, pastoral care, and spiritual guidance. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations of clergy and laity in the Archdiocese of Mbarara.</p>
