Communities and Ministries

There are seven priests from the Apostles of Jesus serving in the Archdiocese of Mbarara. The congregation has established three communities within the archdiocese:

• Bubaare Parish Community: This community, consisting of two priests, is located in Ibanda town and is responsible for the pastoral and administrative needs of Bubaare Parish.
• Ishongororo Parish Community: Another community of two priests, located in Ibanda District, manages Ishongororo Parish, providing spiritual guidance and support to the local community.
• Kabaale Centre Community: Situated in Katete Parish, Mbarara City, this community is involved in running a vocational school, contributing to the education and skill development of the youth.

Founding and Mission

The Apostles of Jesus were instrumental in founding Bubaare and Ishongororo parishes, where they continue to play a vital role in their growth and development. Their mission is to spread the gospel and serve the community through various pastoral and educational initiatives.
