Communities and Ministries

The Comboni Missionaries have two communities within the Archdiocese of Mbarara:

• Kyamuhunga Parish Community: This community is actively involved in pastoral and developmental activities within the parish.
• Rushere Parish Community: Located in Kiruhura District, this community has made significant positive impacts in terms of spiritual and human development. They have established several Catholic primary and secondary schools and initiated numerous developmental projects.

Evangelization and Development

The Comboni Missionaries have played a pivotal role in evangelization in the Kiruhura region, which is predominantly pastoral. Their efforts have led to the establishment of three additional centers with resident priests: Kyeibuza Centre, Burunga Centre, and Ssanga Centre. These initiatives have greatly contributed to the spiritual and social development of the region.
